Aron has been designing and fabricating solutions for a multitude of entertainment and industry challenges since 1980 |
| Aron Lasky began his career in 1980
at the birthplace of innovative design: Walt Disney Productions in
Burbank, California. Some of his first creations were animatronic
characters for the Tokyo and Florida EPCOT theme parks, including a
variety of “humans,” elephants and dragons. Aron’s mechanical design capabilities, coupled with his innate critical thinking and analytic problem-solving skills, led him to successfully interface with a wide variety of companies within the entertainment and manufacturing industries and helped them to maximize their profitability and prestige. In addition to Walt Disney Productions, these companies included: • Dittos of California - fashion design • Stan Winston Studios - movie props/special effects • Worlds of Wonder - prototype toys • On-Time Inventions - product development/R&D • SGB Enterprises, Inc. - avionic simulators Aron has served as Department Head, Department Manager, Senior Project Lead, Producer, Show and Set Designer, Art Director, and Senior Mechanical Designer on numerous projects and has brought many design-inspired and cost-effective solutions to a multitude of Themed Entertainment Industry leaders, such as: • Technifex, Inc. - theme park shows, special effects, attractions and trade show booths • Lester Creative, Inc. -museum and casino projects • Creative Presentations, Inc. - museum shows and interactive displays • LA ProPoint, Inc. - theater and themed venues • The Attraction Services Company, Inc. - themed venues • SEGA Entertainment Group, Inc. - themed venues • NCB Entertainment - packaging design, marketing, P.O.P, and promotional events • Largo Vista Entertainment, Inc. - show producer Operating his own mechanical design, computer graphics and consulting business since 1991 — Air’n Art Designs — Aron has provided commercial and private businesses with services ranging from mechanical and computer-aided design, product development, proof-of-concept visualizations, and 3D modeling, to website development, video editing, photographic manipulation and special effects. He has also been an instructor of SolidWorks and AutoCAD for private individuals and undergraduate students at CalArts. |
